Timing is everything...only a week from arriving in the Bahamas, high winds and heavy rain were in the forecast. Where to go, how to meet guests and keep our catamaran safe at the same time. We found a great spot to tuck in and get out of the winds...the Grand Lucayan Waterway.

The Grand Bahama Yacht Club turned out to be an ideal place to meet our friends flying in from the U.S. An all-around wonderful marina to hunker down in when it got wet and wild. Nice staff, great food, beautiful place.

With gorgeous weather to follow, we anchored off-shore and enjoyed the water, delicious food at the Sand Bar and fun moments with dear friends.
