Award-winning actor Liam Neeson launches a fundraising endeavor in partnership with Journeys in Film to educate American students about the world and prepare them for a global future.

For every $25,000 raised, Journeys in Film will add a new country and film to its catalog of free lesson plans for teachers. Current curricula include lesson plans for films from China, India, Iran, Tibet, South Korea, Maori culture and South Africa. New curricula will focus on Latin American countries and conflict regions in the Middle East.

Journeys in Film combines the power of foreign films with high-quality standards-based lesson plans, provided to teachers for free, in order to inspire and engage students in global learning. To date, more than 800,000 students worldwide have been taught using Journeys in Film curricula.
