Probably the least known emanation of the 'Ayahuasca churches', the Barquinha or 'Little Boat' is nonetheless its most fascinating, a surreal cult mixing a Catholic environment with songs for Jesus and Mary, visions given by the plant towards a complex myth involving sailing through levels of consciousness, and an incredibly contagious music
