When a state governor is unexpectedly tapped for the Vice-Presidency he finds the vetting process a brutal introduction to national politics.

In the convulsed, overloaded politics world, a governor is locked in his own office to face a deep
interrogation while he tries to make up the filter for vice-president for a running candidate.
Two men come into the office and cross-examine the future contender. The interrogation
begins with the simplest of questions, while time passes and tension builds up, patience is
limited and more private, exposing queries are put on the table. In midst of the battlefield,
sweat, and stress, everything is at stake, more and more questions are fired with a serious,
poker-faced tone until the strain explodes in a single question: Since when are you banging
your secretary? The answer is expected as if everyone just knew about it. In the middle of the
laughter, the governor gives up on it and drops the fact. When both men leave, the Governor
realizes he had just answered a whole lot of questions to some democrat impersonators.

Vice is a piece of introduction to real game politics. While the governor feels locked, stressed,
and aggravating, both interrogators seek quick response without any hesitation, squeezing out
all the information they can, manipulating him and his image just to make sure an image, status, and reputation won’t be ruined. In a world where you are judged and valued for your mistakes
rather than what has been done right, stone-cold faces, no emotions, robot-like interviewers
lead the selection. The Governor begins to feel the pressure and strain build up in the middle of the
investigation, tears, and sweat coming down, just to laugh when it comes down to getting laid
with his assistant. Is this his real duty? The world of politics in an ironic nutshell.

The exceptional editing quickly introduces us to the immediate moment where we have to
briefly catch up on what’s going on. As the interview goes on, we see the shots getting closer
and closer to each one of the subjects, creating an overwhelming and mind-boggling effect on
what to answer adding up to a constantly increasing tension. The insane amount of questions is
absolutely pointless, just as the role in modern politics this brilliant short film presents to us.
