When making swords, most of the time is spent in front of the grinder. Grinding generates a lot of metal dust and that dust gets everywhere. Unfortunately, dust collection for metal dust is quite tricky. The sparks from grinding can create smoldering fires, and finely ground high-carbon steel burns surprisingly well. It's time to make my own metal dust collector. In part 3, I will build the outer enclosure and conduct a first test run.
