An update from a subscriber regarding the DJI Mini 4 Pro C1 classification and the new v01.00.0400 firmware. Some aspects are positive, while others are negative. I discovered a bug where the 250g warning fails to appear when heavier batteries are mounted.

DJI has implemented the feature to request a C1 Label for your DJI Mini 4 Pro if you declassified the drone in 2023. Although I didn't go through with this for my DJI drone, I received the C1 label

As per EASA / EU Drone Rules 2024, all EU DJI drones must carry a Cx label unless their weight is below 250g. The DJI Mini 4 Pro faced issues when flying at night due to external LED requirements pushing its weight beyond 250g. This concern can be addressed by applying for a C1 label, but it's important to note that it requires an A1/A3 drone certificate for flying
