One of the most famous and romantic defeats of British history was immortalised by Tennyson's poem, 'The Charge of the Light Brigade.' Scientists, archeologists, and collectors put the famous Charge in its true context and carefully unpick the legend to reveal that, pointless and unsuccessful as the charge was, fewer than a quarter of the 'Six Hundred' actually died and we will see what the real killers were that day.
