An amazing 2 days going bush in the beautiful Kaimai Mamaku Range, camping out in my bivvy bag and experiencing New Zealand nature at it's wild best.
From carrying a 30+ kilogram backpack 953 mts to the summit of Mount Te Aroha, to exploring the old Piako County Tramway relics from the gold mining era of days gone by.
From crystal clear fresh water springs and streams and waterfalls to the tramping tracks a billy goat would have trouble traversing!
Come along with me and share the stunning scenery and dive into a little bit of our Indigenous culture and pioneering past.
This is the first of my extended adventures...so hang on- here we go!
