It always amazes me when you walk round the supermarket how much packaging is plastic! One of the best ways to decrease waste (and recycling) is to bring less plastic into your home . With a Thermomix we are lucky enough to be able to make many basics incluing this Tomato Ketchup from scratch with the added benefit of knowing exactly what we are putting into our bodies and being able to adapt the sauce to our liking (some may not like the chilli and it can be left out).
I had one TM6 working most of the afternoon for me making 7 batches of Tomato Ketchup and saving me from bringing 12 plastic containers of Tomato Ketchup into our hose!
