Sandy Blight track was built by the renowned surveyor Len Beadell.
It's part of a network of roads built for the Weapons Research Establishment in Woomera, South Australia. Len named the track after suffering from an eye condition known as trachoma or "sandy blight," left an indelible mark on this track.
