Super Smash Bros. Melee is a highly technical competitive fighting game honed by years of high-stakes competition and meta development, and yet, many players will continue to play it in ways that may seem absurd to some. Even as players' gameplay has optimized itself further over the years, people continue to play Melee "wrong". Sometimes, these players even win.
