Well, we’ve finally done it! We went on a search for hidden treasure, and we actually FOUND IT!!! This isn’t some crazy show like “The Curse of Oak Island” where we watch for a decade and all they ever find are some coconut husks and mud. NOPE!! This is the real lost treasure deal!!!

Once upon a time a famous artist came to a tiny town in Mississippi. He painted the portraits of many of the young and the beautiful of the city, and the portrait of one of the Doyens of the day. Rumor had it that the artist painted not one but TWO portraits. The first, it was said, was weighed measured and found wanting by the lady in question, and banished from sight forever. The second now hangs in a place of prominence to be enjoyed by the thousands of tourists who flock to the area annually. But was there ever actually a first portrait? If so, what happened to it? Where did it go? OR, was it all just an urban legend that had grown up with the mystic of the lady herself?

Over 70 years have elapsed since the scandal of the two portraits. Rumors have swirled for 7 decades…. But could it be true!?! And if it was true, if there really was a “first” Igor Pantunoff portrait painted of the lady, WHERE WAS IT? Surely we wouldn’t accidentally stumble upon it after all these years. SURELY after Hope Farms fire, water intrusion and mold over the last few months we wouldn’t find such a delicate hidden treasure in almost immaculate condition… would we? We didn’t have a treasure map, that’s for sure. All we have is an incredible historic home, a basement filled with undiscovered treasures, and a keen eye for details others just might have overlooked for all these years! Perhaps this mystery is a mystery no more!
