How to build a simple stool. DIY step by step build of a very easy and sturdy step stool or bath stool. Japanese style. Only glue, no nails, no screws, and plenty strong! A woodworking furniture project that creates this very useful and practical stool for your home. I do use a tablesaw to make the dados, and a chisel to flatten the grooves. I used pieces of a reclaimed Oak Tabletop but 2 x 10 Pine works just as well, just not quite as strong. The finish is Walnut Danish Oil.
