This record was given away to presumably either Chrysler employees or NBC-TV people. It contains about 2/3 of the audio from An Evening With Fred Astaire. This is notable, as the audio to this is directly from the master tape recording. An Evening With Fred Astaire was the first major television show to be videotaped in color. First couple minutes are just an advertisement and what can only be described as drum noises, with the rest of the record being more eventful. It doesn't really have the same feel as watching the performance, because you don't see Astaire's dancing. However, this is what you'd have heard that exact night. The record has some light surface noise, but I've done my best to edit out any loud pops. Enjoy this little piece of history!
