As one of the fastest-rising French rappers in the new wave, BU$HI's name is spreading like wildfire in the States. Taking influence from Odd Future, Tyler, The Creator, Metro Boomin, Lil Wayne, Playboi Carti and more, the 23-year-old Lyon-born native's motion is only going forward off the back of a string of self-titled mixtapes and his latest project 'Interlude.' Working with the Migos' famed producer DJ Durel among other American acts, the producer-rapper's push into the American mainstream is coupled with a sense of urgency to assure his music is "perfect." Sitting down with OGM host Hakeem Rowe during his first-ever visit to the US via New York and Los Angeles, the French emcee speaks on 'Interlude,' upcoming work for 2023, his start in production, influences of American culture and more in our latest Our Generation Music exclusive.
