There's plenty of video's talking about the "Woman Tone". It's that warm, rich, smooth neck pickup sound that's famously on lots of songs. I don't hear too much about variations on this though.
I like to think there's more variations that have been used of this sound than we may even realize, as players and fans of great guitarists. One example is the solo tone from Whitesnakes "Is This Love". What a fantastic smooth but bitey sound. I used to mimic this with my Marshall DSL50, but I'd have to adjust it to get the sound, then change it back for normal play. I discovered using a Big Muff pedal will get me really close without having to change all my settings. Tone is subject to ones opinion and experiences. We also have to use what we have and/ or can afford. My point,... experiment. Rolling down the volume with some fuzz pedals, and tweaking the bias can give some fantastic "velcro" type fuzz, and using the neck pickup and tone knobs can add even more character.

I hope you enjoy these videos. Please like and subscribe so I know too keep it up.
