Today we are covering the cancellation of the Dodge SRT Hellcat models. After two more years, at the end of 2023, the Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats will be discontinued and replaced by an electric 'emuscle' car. In 2015, Chrysler released their Hellcat engine, a 6.2L supercharged Hemi V8 with an output of over 700 horsepower. This did wonders for the brand, and found its way under the hood of the Charger, Challenger, Durango, Ram 1500 TRX, and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Unfortunately, Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis has been hinting at the future of electric vehicles, which would not include the Hellcat Hemi engine. Now new comments from Kuniskis and Dodge reveal the cancellation of the Hellcats, and some information about the future of Dodge Muscle. Watch along to find out all the details!
