हिन्दुस्तान के अंदर ही हिन्दू घट रहे हैं. भारत में हिन्दुओं की आबादी में हिस्सेदारी 8 प्रतिशत तक कम हो गई है. दूसरी तरफ़ आबादी में मुसलमानों की हिस्सेदारी 43.15 प्रतिशत बढ़ गई है. ये रिपोर्ट प्रधानमंत्री की आर्थिक सलाहकार परिषद ने जारी की है. ये स्टडी 167 देशों पर आधारित है. 1950 में भारत की आबादी में हिन्दुओं का हिस्सा 84.68 प्रतिशत था, जो 2015 में 78.06 रह गया। यानी आबादी में हिन्दू हिस्सेदारी इन 65 वर्षों में 7.82 प्रतिशत कम हो गई है.
