My Ford truck started out having issues maintaining slower speeds in town, it felt like there was a dead spot in the accelerator pedal, and a mild dead spot at 50 mph. Sometimes it felt like it had no power at all. Later the truck started another symptom, it would occasional do nothing when pushing the accelerator / gas pedal. Pressing the pedal a few more times and eventually it would start working again.
