In this video I will show you how to build a handy, home-made sifter for your compost. This is a simple but valuable tool that allows you to convert chunky compost into something useful for seed starting or for potting your plants. While compost can be used in it's lumpy form, that doesn't come in handy if you want a light and fluffy medium for your garden uses. I'll show you how I built mine and how I use it. This is a doable garden craft project for anyone handy with simple tools.
