Here's what's coming into view on elevating Denver for April 2024...

Reuse for brews
Every April, Food Waste Prevention Week brings together communities across
the U.S. to tackle food waste through education and action. This year, the Denver
Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE), in collaboration with the Office of
Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency (CASR), Strange Craft Beer Company, and
Rebel Bread, is brewing up an event you won’t want to miss!

Electrifying Workforce
Pro Auto Care has been servicing vehicles in Denver for over 30 years. Now, thanks to a grant that allowed training on Electric Vehicles, they are expanding their ability serve their community.

1000 Hopes
Denver committed itself to resolve homelessness through a series of steps to move folks off the streets and into long term stable housing. Hear the stories from the residents who are working to turn their lives around.

Westword has coined them the “Denver Power” couple and to those in their orbit that is an understatement. Andrew Novick has been an innovator and cultural commentator on all things “Denver” and Merhia Wiese is an activist and artist. A powerhouse couple that are a driving force behind what makes Denver fun and eclectic.

One of the best restaurants in Denver offers way more than appetizing dishes. For the participants at Comal Heritage Food Incubator, they are able to practice making incredible dishes while also gaining the skills to start their own business.
