What's up everyone and welcome back to another Halo 2 campaign mod showcase! In this video, we will be checking out a campaign mod that shows what would have happened if The Banished invaded High Charity in Halo 2. This is Banished Invasion of High Charity, created by CarterKatJunEmile!

The Banished have invaded High Charity! But it couldn't have come at a better time. As the Master Chief, you must infiltrate High Charity during this time of crisis in order to hunt the Prophet of Truth. As you traverse High Charity, numerous threats await you. The Elites and Brutes of the Covenant are still unified, and will work together to take you down.

However, the Banished forces are attacking, and this will provide you with the distraction you need to escape. Banished forces are predominantly red - they will primarily use Brute Plasma Rifles and Brute Shots, and consist of Brute Captains, Grunt Majors, Elite Majors, Elite Assassins and the occasional Banished Jackal. Covenant forces consist of Grunt Minors, Heavies, SpecOps and Ultras, Elite Minors, SpecOps, Honour Guards and Ultras, Jackal Minors and Majors, Brute Minors and Majors, Drones, and Hunters.

But you are not alone in your journey. You will be able to rescue many Marines, as well as two Elites who will side with you. These green Elites are powerful assets that you should try to keep alive, and equipping them with Energy Swords as soon as possible is a wise move. You will get three Green Elites at first, but one will always die. The remaining two are very strong and should not be left behind.

This mod is compatible with both Anniversary and Classic graphics, though using Classic graphics lets you see the colour changes to the enemy ranks.

While a little hard to tell who is on who's team at certain times, I think this mod has a lot of potential. The thought of The Banished being present in Halo 2 is an interesting concept and I like how this played out. I hope to see more mods like this in the future!
