I installed a 12 volt winch on my M1114 HMMWV and it was having an interesting problem. I showed it to the day class and the night class and made this video so everyone could see. Just because to metal objects are bolted together with steel bolts does not mean the electricity can flow.

This is why it is important to diagnose both half's of the electrical system properly.
