Shot was at 40 yards and deer face planted in 30 yards. Bolt traveled 30 yards past where the deer was standing, and had gone through brush and skipped in the dirt, wiping it clean.
Deer was given to a friend whos family has fallen on hard times due to missed work and medical bills.
Shot was slightly quartering away, breaking a rib on entry, then striking the center lobe of the near lung, where the blades fully deployed before slicing through the top of the rear of the heart, and almost slicing the entire center lobe of the far lung off, broke one more rib on exit.
