Old and humble, Elizabeth is made to face the harsh realities of a growing menace in her small town. Bandits are roaming the neighboring forest, tormenting her fellow villagers. One day, trouble comes knocking at her doorstep when these same bandits force her to kneel in the middle of the forest and threaten to hurt her if she doesn’t hand over all her jewels and money. Thankfully, someone saves her just in time, but she soon turns the community against her with her accusations. What happens next is unimaginable and shocking!
