For over one hundred years Alfa Romeo has battled; on the track, in the showroom and for the hearts and minds of the Italian population. After all it is the original red Italian sportscar company. Yet at the dawn of the oughts’ the brand is aimlessly drifting. Some might even say it’s in danger of finally dying. So a small dedicated team doubles down on a radical new design language and a hefty capital investment in the men and women building their product. The result is a brand restoration on the fly. As their main German rivals start to age, Alfa has once again come back.

Now they’re taking the next step and introducing their first SUV – The Stelvio. A machine that’s part sport, part crossover, and part sexy sedan all wrapped into one. Where it succeeds or fails will finally answer whether or not Alfa Romeo can survive.
