If you're having issues with a rattling noise in the dash of your Silverado / Sierra 1500 or 2500HD under the steering wheel or near the pedals this quick fix can easily solve the issue. The rattle is due to four bolts underneath the steering column that come loose, and can be fixed by removing two simple Torx T15 bolts and popping off the panel.
