0:00 Intro
0:05 If the oil pump was not damaged on installation, the engine would still have been fine, but since they damaged the oil pump vanes, the engine had no oil going to the bearings which scored them.
"The oil pump is responsible for conveying the oil for engine lubrication and building up the oil pressure in the lubrication system."
0:25 The customer only replaced the tire on the main wheel and declined all other repairs.
0:42 The technician said they must have hit something on the driveshaft quite a while ago before bringing it in as it was starting to rust. The driveshaft got replaced.
0:52 "In Norway there are very strict rules on summer tyres and winter tires. when I jacked up this car to fit the summer tires. then this met me. The customer has therefore been driving with this for a long time. the bolts are just gone. but I found the right bolts and fixed it for the customer for free. I also changed the tires."
1:02 From the looks of things they must have used an impact gun or battery/air-powered tools to tighten the transmission pan bolts. Why it's always important to start bolts by hand and then just torque them to manufacturer spec.
1:25 The silicone was all removed and the coolant leak was repaired.
1:32 The technician said once he told the customer what he found, he never heard back from the customer after that.
1:45 Lifted jeep, had a fake snorkel installed on it.
1:53 No extra info.
2:03 Looks to be the wheels of an older-generation truck. The customer modified them himself, but that was the cause of the vibration that the customer had.
2:10 Corrosion brake line recall it came in for, and that's when the technician found the broken/rusted brake rotors.
2:21 A good reason to take photos if you're new to working on vehicles so you can remember on how stuff goes back together.
2:30 No extra info.
2:43 1998 Mercury Marqui. The technician said it was the first time he has seen anything like this and thankfully they came in before something bad happened.
3:01 Customer declined repairs.
3:07 Took 3 years to completely transform this old Ford. The person who did this is a cabinet maker by trade. The body is all made out of wood and does not have any metal.
3:21 Outro. Thanks for watching!
