You may have seen some of the news about grant awards for California High Speed Rail and Brightline West. The official announcement for FSP-National grants will probably be Friday 12/8/23. I will likely be making a video about all of the FSP-National awards for release on 12/15/23.

For the moment I am covering what I can find concerning California High Speed Rail, Brightline West, Texas High Speed Rail, Cascadia Ultra High Speed Rail, Acela / Northeast Corridor, and Dallas / Fort Worth HST, Northeast Maglev as these are all projects that plan to meet or exceed a top speed of 150MPH. There ARE others in early planning stages and passed among railfans in hushed whispers like Chicago Hub, Nashville to Atlanta, Atlanta to Charlotte, HSR inside Michigan, and now Brightline 2.0. I know there are other lines in the U.S. that hit 110-125MPH. such Brightline in Florida and Keystone service in Pennsylvania. I may eventually add those, especially 125+. I haven't decided. It kind of depends if 150mph+ projects continue to provide 10-12 minutes of content each month.
