Sherkhan and Fateh Khan have been rivals of each other for a long period. Brought up with immense love and affection, Rukhsar, a beautiful damsel is Fateh Khan's daughter. On an outing with friends, Rukhsar gets attracted to Salman, Sherkhan's son. Love blossomed admits all adversities. Sherkhan is extremely happy to know that his son is in love with his worst enemy's daughter and promises Salman that he will get him married to Rukhsar. The marriage is settled after great difficulties. On the marriage occasion Fateh Khan places an incredible demand in Haque-Meher. Sherkhan is dumbfounded and shocked but gives in for his son’s happiness. Hurt by the insult, Sherkhan retaliates by throwing Rukhsar out of the house next morning after paying the agreed Haque-Meher. Will their personal rivalry let the two young hearts live happily?

शेरखान और फतेह खान लंबे समय से एक-दूसरे के प्रतिद्वंद्वी रहे हैं। बेहद प्यार और स्नेह के साथ पली-बढ़ी रुखसार, एक खूबसूरत लड़की, फतेह खान की बेटी है। दोस्तों के साथ घूमने के दौरान रुखसार, शेरखान के बेटे सलमान की ओर आकर्षित हो जाती है। प्रस्फुटित प्रेम सभी प्रतिकूलताओं को स्वीकार करता है। शेरखान यह जानकर बेहद खुश होता है कि उसका बेटा अपने सबसे बड़े दुश्मन की बेटी से प्यार करता है और वह सलमान से वादा करता है कि वह उसकी शादी रुखसार से कराएगा। बड़ी मुश्किलों के बाद शादी तय हुई. शादी के मौके पर फतेह खान हक-मेहर से एक अविश्वसनीय मांग रखता है। शेरखान हतप्रभ और हैरान है लेकिन अपने बेटे की खुशी के लिए हार मान लेता है। अपमान से आहत होकर, शेरखान ने सहमत हक-मेहर को भुगतान करने के बाद अगली सुबह रुखसार को घर से बाहर निकाल दिया। क्या उनकी व्यक्तिगत प्रतिद्वंद्विता दो युवा दिलों को खुशी से रहने देगी?
