VN24 - 18-05-2023 (D/M/Y) - Werne / Germany - During the night of the 17th to the 18th of May, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Wesseler Straße in Werne. The Mercedes, which was steered by a very young driving novice, came on the rural avenue lined with trees, shortly before a light left curve from so far unexplained cause obviously with very high speed to the left of the lane and crashed nearly unbraked against a tree. The Mercedes T-model literally burst into a thousand pieces. Many of them, such as the engine with transmission, radiator and other components flew into an adjacent field, the car battery made it more than 60 meters. The young man at the wheel (barely 6 months driving license) could not survive this impact. The accident was discovered by witnesses at around 7 a.m. This was followed by hours of investigation and accident recording by a specialized Accident Investigation Team of the police. It was not until around 2 p.m. that the car and the wreckage could be collected by a towing company and secured for further investigation.
