My 2012 Touareg TDI started cranking for a long time before starting after refueling. I decided to replace the fuel filter to see if that had any impact on the hard starting and also to see if there was any evidence of contamination. This procedure would likely be the same for an Audi Q7 TDI or a Porsche Cayenne Diesel of the same vintage.
