To remove the oil change required message first press left menu button on the left side of the steering wheel. That will get you to the main vehicle menu. Scroll down until you reach Settings and select it. Then select Vehicle and again scroll down to Oil Life Reset. You can set oil life to 100%, 90%, 80%, etc.

You should reset the oil life indicator every time you do an oil change and vehicle will remind you when next oil change is due.
