The Game Awards are one of the most beloved events within gaming culture. Despite it basically only featuring games from “beloved” AAA publishers Like Activision Blizzard, Riot Games and Tencent all of whom totally have “not” destroyed the gaming ecosystem, among other lame stuff like Esports for the four people who actually watch competitive Valorant & the (dead) Overwatch League. Despit this for some reason we just keep coming back to it year after year. Why is that? Its the announcements.
