Our documentary film "Prison Orphan" is one of the most watched videos on our channel. We've been so heartened by all the comments and concern for the "star" in the show, Justin, and how he's doing today. As we continue to work on the updated film featuring his life today, we thought our viewers might like to get an inside look at what the full day looked like when Justin was released from 2 years in prison and was transported to his new placement facility.

In this extended video from "Prison Orphan", viewers can watch the entire transfer process from the day Justin arrived at his new placement facility after making the hour-long drive in a prison van in leg and waist shackles. As Justin arrives at the place he will call home for several years, we see him unshackled by the prison guard and following his favorite prison counselor inside the new facility. Cameras document how he responds to the staff at the facility, his bewilderment at his new surroundings, and what facility staff have to say about his living arrangement, education plans and overall daily routine at his new home. We see Justin meet with his teachers, check out the community pool, and move all of his things into his small, tidy room with a view. As he prepares for an all-new life after nearly two years behind bars, this exclusive look inside one of America's child welfare in-patient placement facilities is a rare look at where thousands of children and families turn for treatment and programs when living at home is no longer an option.

Note: After living at his placement facility for two years, Justin was transferred to a Group Home owned by the same facility. He eventually moved out of the Group Home and was adopted by his long-time mentor who was not featured in our stories. While he has had some health issues along the way, he is now doing great and living a happy life in a home he loves.
