The fine folks at Ford agreed to let me into the F150 Lightning Event at the new facilities within the Rouge Factory EV Complex in Dearborn, Michigan. I got a chance to go for a ride in their first all-electric full sized truck. While I was there, I caught up with some company leaders including Jim Farley, Darren Palmer, and Joy Falotico.

As if the spectacle wasn't exciting enough, my buddy Sandy Munro @MunroLive happened to be there unaccompanied, so we wandered off to walk the brand new assembly line. He has spent most of his adult life around manufacturing and shared many insights.
