Hey guys! Ross here, back for another Daily Shave! Today’s shave features the Henson Shaving - AL13 Safety Razor.

Henson is based out of Ontario, Canada and emphasizes a quality build with tight tolerances on this safety razor offering. True to it’s billing, the aluminum build of this razor is of great quality with little to no tooling or scuff marks from the machining. Both the medium and mild aggressive options are the most mild I’ve ever experienced. The angle is very intuitive and easy to find and the blade feel is almost non-existent. Given it’s mild aggression, this razor does require me to buff most, if not all, areas of my face to ensure a clean/smooth shave.

I think for the price point, this is a very nice razor that may even provide better shaves when utilized with a sharper razor blade. I think this is a great option especially for beginners just getting into the hobby. From a personal standpoint, I’d prefer to see a little more efficiency so that I’m not having to spend more time buffing over areas, but that is a personal preference. Overall, I’ve had some great shaves with both the medium and mild versions of this razor and think many would enjoy this razor.
