After taking care of the class snuggly toy, Deely Bear, for the weekend, it’s the night before school….and Chip can’t find Deely Bear! With Potato’s help, she looks everywhere, and finally spots the bear outside in the garden….just as the rain begins. Now Deely Bear is covered in mud and wet from the rain. Chip feels bad that Mr. Diggerty trusted her with Deely Bear and she let the bear get so dirty—how can she fix it before class in the morning?
It’s Chip’s first piano lesson with her teacher, Corella Cockatoo! Chip wants to play a pretty tune just like her Momma can, but first she has to learn to play just one note…and then just one more note. At this rate, Chip wonders if she’ll ever be able to play a full tune! But Corella will help her get there, one note at a time.

Lovable pug Chip starts kindergarten, makes new friends and tries new things — with a little help from Potato, her secret mouse pal.
