6:11 Tenet's Time-Travel is not Interesting
Christopher Nolan's Tenet is his eleventh movie, and it seems to sum up a lot of his famous work. But is the movie any good?
This review argues "no." Why? Tenet has a lot of basic problems that should annoy many moviegoers. Although I have enjoyed all of Nolan's movie, and admire many of them, Tenet is his first movie that made me question his scriptwriting abilities. Cliches, inaudible dialogue, too much exposition, lack of focus, unclear plot, flat characters, incomprehensible action, simplistic and contradictory time-travel scenarios, and emotional moments that have no proper preparation -- all plague this movie.
I wish Nolan's Tenet were better. I wish.
