The 2023 Peugeot 308 is a development of the previous-generation car but with improvements to the platform and especially the interior technology. Under the bonnet is a familiar 1.2-litre turbo three-cylinder petrol engine making 96kW (128 hp), but there will also be a powerful 165kW (221 hp) plug-in hybrid model coming soon. And a wagon!
But what will the new 308 cost? That is the best question. We are expecting it to tick up quite a bit in price.
Rivals to the Peugeot 308 include the Volkswagen Golf, Mazda 3 and Cupra Leon … and maybe the Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series too.
