PART 1 of demonstrating how I replaced my cracked LCD Screen and touch pad on my Blackview A70. But it might be possible on other phones too.
However, I don't recommend doing this if you're of a nervous disposition or have an expensive phone.
I made a mistake and didn't take the battery out before I started so It's probably best to take the battery out before you start.
EQUIPMENT
Hot water bottle with boiling water in it to warm the glue holding the LCD to the body of the mobile phone
Knife with very thin blade - I had a vintage butter knife
I used a plectrum to cut through the glue once warmed but you might get away with any skinny Spudger (I already had a set bought from China)
Very small screw driver (Phillips???) (for part 2)
A suction cup - I already had a dash cam bracket from Halfords
COSTS
The screen (from China) cost about £21 (sterling) and would cost £25 - £40 to be replaced in a mobile phone repair shop.
TIME TAKEN
Getting the LCD screen off took about 12-13 minutes.
