There has been a lot of controversy about the armlock putter, and if it is cheating, or if it should be banned from the PGA Tour. Bryson DeChambeau is one of the more popular players currently using an armlock putter on tour.

The armlock putter is a long putter that you lock against your arm for stability. An armlock putter shaft is much longer than a standard putter shaft, about 40-42 inches. The armlock putter grip is much longer as well, to help support the unique way of holding the putter.

In the video we mention the importance of an armlock putter fitting. Most don’t realize the importance of getting fitted for any putter, however the armlock could be even more important, as there is a much different loft with an armlock putter, and finding what is most comfortable for you and your natural stroke.
