This is episode 2 of the three part documentary focusing on the world famous Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park Hotel. The cameras follow all the day to day goings on with the staff from all over the hotel and interview guests too to get a flavour of what it is like in a 5 Star Luxury Property. In this episode, I am introduced as the new Concierge and get to learn my role quite quickly alongside veteran of the desk, Francois Xavier who has been there for 17 years. Head Concierge, Nigel keeps a close eye on me as I see just how different it is to work in a property of this magnitude and I get to find out more about the local postcode of Knightsbridge. Even my nan gets a taste of the high life when I bring her for Afternoon Tea in the Roseberry Lounge. Also in this episode, we see a wedding taking place, and the night housekeeper who is looking for a change.
