How to do Pest Control in Restaurants. Today of the stops I had, I put together this video to demonstrate what its involved in treating a Restaurant. Like all the work that we do as Pest Control Operators, the key is detail and taking the time to treat all the areas necessary. In a Restaurant they wash out the surfaces daily so its important to treat regularly with chemicals to help control all pest. When treating a Restaurant I add a adjuvant to my mix for staying power. Treat LOW-meaning, spray under all equipment- NOT on top of the equipment where the food is being handled. Its very important to us care when treating around food equipment.
The last job I did today- I treated part of a kitchen that is under renovation. They had some active roaches so its the perfect time to flush them out of the walls. I used a Flusher, a knockdown Aerosol my B&G and lastly I placed room foggers. Prior to setting off the foggers I placed glue boards in all the doorways to contain the spread of the roaches to other parts of the restaurant.
