UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold's guest on Rural Health Matters on RFD-TV is Kari Simonsen, MD, MDA, who is the chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Pediatrician-in-Chief of Children’s Nebraska, Omaha, Nebraska. She is a Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and served for over a decade as division chief of Pediatric ID, as well as previous service as Hospital Epidemiologist of Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, NE. She also previously served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Faculty Affairs at UNMC.
