At the April 18, 2024 Village of Riverside Board of Trustees Regular Meeting, Village President J. Douglas Pollock delivered the Village President's Report. As part of his report, he highlighted a partnership between the staff of the Village of Riverside and the Ecology Club at Riverside Brookfield Township High School District 208 on an initiative to stop cars from idling in the school district’s student drop-off and pick-up zones.
