Demetrius "Hook" Mitchell was arguably the best Basketball player from Oakland growing up in the 70s. Even Better than Hall of Famers Jason Kidd and Gary Payton. Living up to his name, he became hooked on the drugs, fast living and street life to the detriment of his career. All in all, he's still a legend in the game of street basketball and a name many young players should learn, but NOT mimic. Salute to the legend.
