If you grew up in the 90s to 2000s you'll most likely remember a slew of animated sequels that branched off telling stories of characters other than the main protagonist. Often these were confined to home video which was perfectly reasonable given their "simple" quality, but Pixar had to break the mould with Cars 2 and for better or for worse we got more.
