A time comes in every plants life when it outgrows the confines of the pot that it's in. Roots become too bound and competition for nutrients may have detrimental effects on stalks. A large crown might even be too top-heavy for the planter, risking a disastrous tumble.

In this video I up-pot my big jade to it's forever planter. It will live out all the days of its life in this planter, and likely grow to nearly 4-feet!
