In this video you can see us preparing soil and planting corn on our small, 0.5 ha field that we like to plant and harvest earlier so that we have small corn silage heap ready for feeding in autumn, when our 3 main silos are fermenting.
First I spread some slurry on the field, then my dad plowed it, then we went over with power harrow and finally planted it with corn.
As you can see we are still using only 2 furrow plow and 2 row planter. That's because we only plant 3 hecaters of corn. The rest of the corn that we need for silage we buy in the fall.
